The case for hip-hop

As you may have heard, Kanye West appeared at facebook headquarters and performed a few songs from his new album, Good-Ass Job (but that may not be the name any more?) Here is a video of him performing "Chain Heavy" without any backing music or instrumentals. It's really interesting to hear a rap like that. He sounds more like a poet than a rapper, and you know poets get more respect than rappers. After all, this is the 1400s. (That's when poems were big, right?)

(The other videos are pretty good too.)

As long as the music behind the rap is good, I'd say it's a pretty good song. But also, most popular rap is T-Pain and Soulja Boy Tell 'Em.
